If you’re selling your home, you want to make sure it spends as little amount of time on the market while attracting a broad range of prospective buyers. Part of the selling process is standing out and highlighting features that make your home unique, help it sell faster, and at the best price, so let’s take a look and see what some of these are.
An outdoor kitchen may not be seen that frequently in South Florida, but in Tampa it’s become quite common. Over three percent of homes sold higher than the expected value and sold 19 days faster thanks to the outdoor kitchen feature.
Perhaps more unusually, tankless water heaters are also a big plus, particularly in Los Angeles. Homes with a tankless water heater sold four percent above the expected values and spent a whopping 43 fewer days on the market. Heated floors are still a unique luxury in many properties but they’re also a big plus in Seattle, with homes selling about 28 days faster.
Other frequent features to consider highlighting when selling your home include kitchen backsplashes and granite countertops, stainless steel kitchen appliances, and frameless showers.
If you’re in the business of selling or flipping properties, what are some of the features you’ve noticed have helped your property stand out?
